Hahaha, weird as it the title may seem, I just wanted to add some stories related to my previous post. You may wonder what I was doing in Dubai in the first place. Well, I was there for a 5-day training on Petroleum Economics by PetroSkills. I didn’t mention much, or actually none at all, about my training because there was practically nothing to tell about it. Hahaha! It was difficult and very intensive, but I’m not really into blogging about it so never mind that story. 😛
I also forgot to mention that I tried to go to Ibn Battuta mall. I tried going by myself, I rode the Metro train by myself which was really boring since it took about almost an hour from Deira station to Ibn Battuta station. It was really far! By the time I got off Ibn Battuta station, it was almost 8PM. There was a bus station just outside the train station but unfortunately, I didn’t know what bus to ride! I also didn’t have anymore credits in my Nol card so I had to reload again. I stayed at the bus station for half an hour trying to figure my way to the mall when actually I could just walk forward and cross the road. The mall was right in front of the train station and bus station, but a fair amount of walking will have to be done. I kept on looking at the mall trying to digest its size. It’s HUGE! I was BBM’ing my best friend and my cousin Don on how do I get to the mall. When I finally thought of the right bus to ride, I asked Don till what time the train is open and found out it’s only until 10PM. I looked at my watch – it’s 8:30PM – I looked at the mall – it’s huge! – and I thought, I won’t be able to see the entire mall anyways, so never mind. I decided to go back to Deira City Center and roam around the smaller mall instead. Bwahahaha!
This post is also intended to share with you some other pics taken from Dubai..
WARNING: The pictures you are about to see are… taken by me. Bwahaha! 😛
